How the Alimony Calculators Work
State law determines the calculator
AlimonyCalculator.org does not use one national alimony formula. Each state page must identify the law, court rule, guideline, or other source that controls the calculation.
The result label describes the number
A guideline estimate is labeled as a guideline estimate. A statutory maximum is labeled as a maximum. A payment scenario uses an amount entered by the visitor and is not presented as a court prediction.
Every state page has a source date
The state page records when its legal sources and calculation parameters were checked. A source date does not replace legal review and does not guarantee that a rule has not changed afterward.
Unfinished states stay out of search results
A state route can exist during development without being treated as a completed calculator. Unfinished pages remain noindex until their research, content, and tests are complete.
